Gigi Hadid isn't just doing Blake Lively a simple favor when it comes to It Ends With Us.
After the Gossip Girl alum joked that it's part of her job to tell people that her forthcoming Colleen Hoover adaptation is worth seeing in theaters come August, the supermodel insisted on offering her totally honest review of the film.
"So, the movie comes out in three weeks and it's actually so good," Blake exclusively told E! News at husband Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in New York City July 22. "I say ‘it's actually’ because we're always like, ‘Yeah, our movie so good! Go see it.’ You’re, like, paid to do that."
That's when Gigi—who posed on the red carpet at the Marvel event alongside the A Simple Favor star, Ryan and his costar Hugh Jackman—quipped that she, on the other hand, is under no contractual obligation to lie about the romance movie's quality.
"It is actually so good," Gigi told E!. "I’m not paid to say it. It's great."
Of course, Blake—who shares kids James, 9, Inez, 7, and Betty, 4, as well as a fourth child born in 2023, with Ryan—was just kidding about profiting off It Ends With Us promotion, noting, "They don't actually pay you to promote the movie."
"They pay you to be in the movie," she clarified. "You always kind of have to say it's great, or you're an a--hole." (For more from Blake and Gigi, tune into E! News tomorrow, July 23 at 11 p.m.)
Besides, Gigi, 29, and Blake, 36, clearly have no problem celebrating projects without receiving anything in return. After all, they rocked coordinating yellow and red ensembles to the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere in honor of the superhero flick's titular characters.
And that's not the only way Blake—who obviously channeled her husband's character Deadpool in a scarlet-colored satin bodysuit—paid tribute to the film, which hits theaters July 26. The actress also shared a cheeky snap of her kissing Ryan in his costume to her Instagram Story July 22 alongside the caption, "You can't say I was lying when I said, 'it's what's on the inside that matters.'"
She added, "Til death (or wade wilson) do us part."
